They told me they were sorry and were sending me a 'free night' at the resort with a one year expiration date. I received a call from the Resort about my survey. I told them to keep their weekend and credit my account for the miserable time I had there. In that letter they said I would be entered in a drawing for a 'free' weekend. I also received a survey in the mail and that too was filled out. When I got home I had an email from the Resort asking for my opinion. She told me to write a letter to the address listed on my bill, which was over $400.00. I asked the clerk for a 'complaint' form and to my surprise she couldn't find one (they probably ran out from all the other complaints). At the time there was another person in line complaining about her room also. She apologized and said she would notify housekeeping.

We stayed 2 nights and the morning of our check out I took one of the three dirty glasses to the check out clerk and showed her. Since it was the holiday season (Christmas) my husband asked me not to complain until we checked out. When I reached for a glass there were lipstick prints on three of the four glasses and a dirt film on the inside of the glasses from their attempts at washing them. There was a spider web behind the door and little 'critters' walking along the doorway. I slipped in the shower and since they had no handrails I grabbed the shower handle and scalded myself, as it went all the way to the hot water and the shower door flung open. After sitting on it for about five minutes my husband and I started itching. The furniture must have come from a college dorm room. I admit I was impressed with the size of the room (almost a one bedroom apartment) and the bed, but that was it. When you hear the word Resort, you expect quality. Not to mention their staff telling me it was voted as a 'Five Star' Resort. I expected much more from the reviews I read and their glowing Web page. I cannot believe this is a 'Three Star' Resort.
